Murano
215.00 $
Description
This vintage vase is from Fratelli Toso glassworks in Murano, Italy. Handblown in the mid 1900s, the vibrant red orange glossy exterior features a distinctive dappled appearance, and is reminiscent of a ripe strawberry. It has a lovely fan shaped rim with a pinch in the middle and a corseted waist body. The smooth white interior is glossy. There are two small chips on the bottom rim and two interior bubbles common to handblown pieces. See photos. This is a beautiful piece to add to your glass collection, whether you choose to display it as a collector piece or use it to showcase a bouquet of flowers.
