Vintage 50s Floral Tablecloth 64 x 52 Red Yellow Blue Cotton Kitchen Linen
Charming vintage printed cotton tablecloth, approximately 64” x 52”, featuring a wonderfully bold mid-century floral design in red, sunny yellow, deep blue/teal and touches of green against a warm white background. The design combines large, loose bouquets with scattered individual flowers and leaves across the field. Large red poppy-like blossoms and yellow daisy/sunflower forms are mixed with deep blue flowers and smaller red and yellow blooms, giving the cloth a cheerful vintage kitchen or cottage look. Likely dating from the late 1940s to early 1950s. Fabric appears to be cotton; fiber content is unmarked. Overall usable condition. It does have age-related staining, faint discoloration and scattered small spots, examples of which are shown in the photographs. These imperfections are noticeable on close inspection but do not prevent the cloth from being used and enjoyed. It would make a lovely everyday vintage kitchen tablecloth, breakfast-table cloth, patio or picnic cloth, especially for someone who appreciates authentic vintage textiles with some evidence of their history. It is also an excellent candidate for repurposing or cutter fabric. The large colorful floral bouquets provide substantial attractive areas for pillows, aprons, tote bags, quilt blocks, textile art, doll projects and other sewing or craft applications. #Haberdashery
